Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the usual face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly proceeding.
